Colony Palms in Palm Springs

We were down in Palm Springs a few weeks ago doing a walk through of The Parker with a client. We had some time to kill so we went around to some new hotels in Palm Springs. Our first stop was Colony Palms which opened last year. It is an adorable hotel with a relaxing atmosphere and fun mid century modern details. There are big oversized loungers around the pool and individual cabanas for escaping the sun. The rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds and well stocked mini bars.

This is a great spot for a destination wedding in the desert. The restaurant is perfect for smaller parties and larger groups can dine around the pool area. The hotel is small enough to buy out the whole property for the right size group. It's located right in the heart of downtown which means it's only a five minute cab ride from the airport and close to the vintage shops and high end boutiques Palm Springs is known for.
