2010 New Year's Eve Bash and SURPRISE Wedding!

Our NYE bash was amazing! Our clients even pulled off a wedding as a surprise to all the guests. It was a beautiful ceremony in the middle of a really great party. So sweet. Without further ado, here are some amateur shots we took of the set up and some of the actual party...

The party took place at Dogpatch Studios, an amazing space in San Francisco. The building is a really great industrial space, with gigantic ceilings and old-world warehouse windows. It's a great space because it can be transformed into just about anything you can imagine. Our vision was to transform it into a lounge space, so we set up a couple of indoor tented lounges, complete with big cozy couches and fluffy white fur pillows and ottomans.

Most of our rentals were from Hartmann, from the drapery to the tents to the couches and even the forks and spoons. Hartmann is great to work with because they are in and out quickly and they have a great variety of rental options. They even re-painted the faux antler light fixtures for us (believe it or not, they were once silver)!

Lauren, our lovely and talented in-house floral designer, handled the arrangements for the night. She did a phenomenal job, combining great textures and colors. Favorite things: box of vintage trinkets and feather covered votive candles.

Alison hired Sage to cater her first wedding in 2003 and we've been working them ever since. As usual, they really made the night perfect. They set up some great food stations, including a taco table and an asian station, complete with noodle boxes. They also passed around some delicious late night snacks like grilled cheese and mini burgers. The staff is so young and fresh and really easy to work with. We simply can't say enough about how lovely it is to work with the Sage team. The food is always delicious and Scot's always coming up with creative ideas for the menu, which makes our job so much fun.

Refraction handled the lighting and sound for the night. We absolutely love working with them, they're like family at this point. They are an amazing team, each person is so talented and professional, plus they're all hilarious and fun to work with. We've never heard them say that they can't do something, plus they're really good at understanding our vision for each individual event.

Absolutely gorgeous! I love the antler chandeliers those are my faves. Amazing lighting really makes a difference. Looking forward to seeing photos from this surprise wedding, especially the look on the guests faces when they realized they were at a wedding!
